Differences between Digital Marketing And Affiliate Marketing 

1. Digital marketing:- encompasses a broad range of online marketing strategies aimed at promoting products or services, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and more.

2. Affiliate marketing:-  on the other hand, is a specific type of digital marketing where individuals or businesses earn a commission by promoting other people's or company's products. They earn a commission for each sale, lead, or action generated through their referral. In affiliate marketing, the marketer acts as a middleman between the product/service provider and the consumer, earning a portion of the revenue for driving sales or leads.

3. Scope:-  Digital marketing encompasses a wide range of online marketing activities, including both organic (unpaid) and paid methods, to promote products, services, or brands online. This can include activities such as search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and more.

4. Affiliate Marketing Model:-  Affiliate marketing specifically involves a partnership between a business (merchant) and one or more affiliates (publishers). Affiliates promote the merchant's products or services through various online channels, such as websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, etc. 

5. Risk and Investment:-  Digital marketing campaigns often require significant upfront investment in terms of time, resources, and budget. However, the potential returns can be substantial if the campaigns are successful. In affiliate marketing, affiliates typically bear minimal risk since they don't have to create or own the products they're promoting. They invest their time and effort into promoting the merchant's products, and they only earn commissions when they successfully drive sales or leads.

Overall, while both digital marketing and affiliate marketing are integral parts of online marketing strategies, affiliate marketing offers a unique revenue-sharing model where individuals or businesses can earn passive income by promoting other people's products or services.
